    My Profile

  • How do I Access my Settings?
    To access your Settings, go to your Main Profile and tap on the Orange Gear. Once tapped a list of options will appear. Tap the option “SETTINGS” to open your settings.
  • How do I Add a Pet
    To Add a Pet Profile, go to your Settings. Scroll towards the bottom and tap “ADD A PET”. Here you will be prompted to create a new additional Pet Profile under your account. Once you complete filling out the presented fields of information, tap the Orange Check Mark on the upper right corner of your screen to complete the creation of your Pet Profile. NOTE: this information can always be updated after creation.
  • How do I Configure my Notifications & Sounds
    In settings under “NOTIFICATIONS” you have the ability to enable or disable your notification sounds and animal sounds. You also have the ability to select the types of notifications (ie. licks, follows, mentions etc.) you receive.
  • How do I Delete a Pet
    (In the case where you have multiple pets) To Delete a Pet Profile, go to your Settings. Scroll towards the bottom and tap “DELETE A PET”. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete your Pet Profile. If you tap Yes, then you will be sent an email for you to verify that you are the Pet Guardian & Account Holder. After doing so your Pet Profile will be deleted.
  • How do I Delete my Account
    To Delete your account, go to your Settings. Scroll towards the bottom and tap “DELETE ACCOUNT”. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete your account. If you tap Yes, you will then be sent an email for you to verify that you are the Pet Guardian & Account Holder. After doing so your Account will be deleted
  • How do I Edit my Profile?
    To edit your Profile, go to your Settings achieved by tapping the Orange Gear, then tap “EDIT PROFILE”. Here you can update your Profile Picture, Name, Username, Bio and create additional Pet Profiles. Edit About Me allows you to update and fill out the following information: Pets Birthdate, Breed, Pet Type, Birth Place, Hometown, Mom, Dad, Siblings, Cousins, Friends etc. as well as list your Favorites. Below Edit Your Profile, you can update your Account Pet Guardian information consisting of your Name and Email.
  • How do I view my About Me?
    To view your About Me, go to your Profile... then swipe to the right or tap the “ABOUT ME” tab found in the upper left corner of your Profile Screen
  • How do I view my Pet Show Awards?
    To view your collected Pet Show Awards, go to your profile... then swipe to the left or tap the “AWARDS” Tab found on the upper right corner of your Profile Screen.
  • How do I view my Profile?
    Tap the house menu button found on the bottom right corner of your screen.
  • How do it Switch Between my Pet Profiles
    To switch between your Pet Profiles, tap the (Small House with Arrows). This functionality can be found throughout the app as follows: the top right hand corner of your Feed, Next to your Pets name in your profile, Under Comments on the top right hand corner, and under Settings towards the bottom.
  • What are the Animal Sounds
    For each pet profile, your notification sound will default to your selected pet type. This means that if your pet type is selected as Dog then your notification sound will be a Bark, a Cat will be a Meow, a Bird will be a Chirp etc. “NOTE: your pet type is found within the “ABOUT ME” section of your Pet Profile and can be updated at any time.
  • How do I get a Memorial Badge?
    If you wish to memorialize your Pet after he/she has passed away- simply go to your settings screen. Next tap "EDIT PROFILE". On this screen you can add the Memorial Badge simply by checking the box next to the rainbow icon. After doing so you can optionally input the dates which your Pet was Born and Passed.

    Account Privacy & Security

  • Can I lose my “Paw” Badge?
    Yes, ZooPix reserves the right to revoke your Paw badge.
  • How do I Block a User?
    First go to the profile of the User you want to block. Next tap the 3 dots and lastly tap “BLOCK USER”. After doing so, this user will be blocked from viewing any of your content, and wont be able to find your account or any of your pets. NOTE: You will be blocking all of the User’s pets If the User (Pet Guardian) you block has more than one Pet Profile.
  • How do I change the Privacy Setting of my Pet Profile?
    Go to your settings, Scroll down and look for the Slide Button that says “PRIVATE ACCOUNT”. Then slide the button from left to right to set your accounts privacy status to Private. If the slide button is the color Orange, then your accounts privacy status is set to Private. If your slide button is the color Gray then your accounts Privacy status is set to Public. NOTE: Please go to Settings and tap on “TERMS & PRIVACY” for further information on Account Privacy and Security.
  • How do I Follow a User?
    To Follow a User, go to their Profile... then tap the Orange Plus + “FOLLOW” Button found to the right of the User’s Name.
  • How do I Remove Followers?
    Currently the only way to prevent a Follower from viewing your profile is to Block them.
  • How do I Unblock Users?
    To unblock Users, go to your Settings. Under Settings, go to “BLOCKED USERS”. Tap the unlock symbol next to the User you wish to UnBlock. NOTE: You will be unblocking all of that User’s pets if the User “Pet Guardian” has more than one Pet Profile
  • How does an Account or Pet Profile get a Paw Badge?
    Currently you cannot request a Paw Badge. In order to receive one, your account or pet profile must be selected and you as a User will be contacted by ZooPix. If you have been contacted by ZooPix in regards to this, that means you have met all our qualifications.
  • How do I Unfollow a User?
    To Unfollow a User, go to their Profile... then tap the Orange Checked Unfollow Button found to the right of the User’s Name.
  • What is the orange “Paw” badge?
    You may have been wondering what the small orange paws containing check marks next to a User’s name are. These are Badges that represent profiles of unique importance. ie. Zooperstars- "Celebrity Pets" and well established Businesses & Brands. The benefits of having a Paw Badge are as follows: Your Account will be prioritized in search results. Users will acknowledge that your Account is authentic as well as increased traffic leading to the discovery of your Account.
  • Who can lick (like) & Comment on my Posts?
    If your Account or Pet Profile is set to Public, anyone can lick (like) or Comment on your Posts. If your Account is set to Private, then only your approved followers can lick or Comment on your Post.

    Business Accounts & Tools

  • How do I create a Hyperlink?
    Hyperlinks can be added to your Post Caption as well as your Profile BIO. To create a hyperlink simply type in the exact website URL. ZooPix will automatically recognize the URL and create the hyperlink.
  • How do I post to Needs Love?
    NOTE: Only business accounts categorized as animal shelter or rescue center have the ability to post to Needs Love. Within the Posting Process, select the NEEDS LOVE category. You will be asked if you would like to optionally provide a special link to be associated with that post. If you choose to not provide one, then the link will default to the URL provided within your About Us. If you did not provide a URL then there will be no associated link.
  • How do I post to the Zoopermart?
    NOTE: Only business accounts categorized as pet brand, pet products, pet shop, pet services, pet fashion, pet food, pet supplies, pet training, pet grooming, veterinarian & animal hospital, pet insurence, breeder or pet photographer have the ability to post to the Zoopermart. Within the Posting Process, select the ZOOPERMART category. You will be asked if you would like to optionally provide a special link to be associated with that post. If you choose to not provide one, then the link will default to the URL provided within your About Us. If you did not provide a URL then there will be no associated link.
  • How do I Sign Up as a Business?
    When signing up for ZooPix (creating an account) you are displayed with the options “SIGN UP A PET” and “SIGN UP A BUSINESS”. Select “SIGN UP A BUSINESS” and follow the further instructions.
  • How does an Account or Profile get a Paw Badge?

  • About Us
    The About Us section of your business profile allows you to fill out and list information to help your audience better understand your business. To Edit this, go to your About Us section of your profile. On the top right hand corner tap the Edit button. Here you can optionally fill out information NOTE: Any information you leave blank will not appear in your profile.
  • Contact Us
    Contact Us allows your business to provide contact information to your audience. Optional contact information is as follows: Email, Phone Number, and a Business Website URL. NOTE: Any information you leave blank will not appear in your profile.

    Connecting ZooPix to Other Networks

  • How do I connect ZooPix to my Facebook?
    If you signed up on ZooPix with your Facebook account... then your Facebook will automatically be connected to ZooPix. In the case you did not sign up with Facebook... the first time you go to share your ZooPix post to your Facebook (via the toggle button on the final posting screen)… you will be asked to provide your Facebook email and password to connect. NOTE: ZooPix does not automatically post to Facebook on your behalf. In order to share from ZooPix to your Facebook... each time you must toggle the “SHARE BY FACEBOOK” slide button.
  • Posting from ZooPix to Facebook
    On the final screen within the posting process, toggle “SHARE BY FACEBOOK” to confirm you are posting from ZooPix to your Facebook account.
  • Sharing Content from ZooPix
    To Share a post outside ZooPix, tap the share icon found to the right of the comment bubble. After taping the share icon, you will be given options to share via Facebook, Email and the 3rd tab “MORE OPTIONS”. If you select More Options, additional share options that are supported by your device will be displayed.

    Posting to ZooPix

  • How do I tag a Pet in a Post?
    To tag a Pet or other User in your post, within the posting process on the final screen, tap “TAG PETS”. Next tap on the screen where you wish to add a tag. Then type in and select the User you wish to tag. NOTE: to remove a tag within the posting process, tap on the tag you want to delete then tap the small X on the tag. Once you have finished adding tags, to confirm your changes tap the orange check mark in the upper right corner.
  • How do I post to a Category?
    To post to a category, when on the final screen within the posting process, select a category below by taping on it (Colored Bars). To deselect it simply tap a second time. You can only select one category per post. NOTE: Some categories wont appear as options to post to because they are exclusive to business accounts.
  • How do I post photos and videos to ZooPix?
    To Post a photo or video to ZooPix, tap the Camera menu button found on the bottom of your screen in the middle. Then follow the prompted posting process. On the final screen within the posting process, tap “POST” to share with your followers and other ZooPixers.

    Viewing Content & Feeds

  • How can I see the date of a Post?
    The date of a post can be found in the bottom left corner of the post you are viewing
  • How Can I see who Licked a Post?
    To review all the users that have licked a post, tap on LICKS which displays the total number of licks. This is found bellow the heart on the bottom left corner of a post.
  • How do I Clear my Search History on ZooPix?
    To clear your search history, go to the search bar... then tap on the search bar, and below “HASHTAGS” will be the “CLEAR HISTORY” button. Tap on the “CLEAR HISTORY” button and all of your ZooPix search history will be cleared from your device.
  • How do I find Pets to Follow?
    Finding Pets to follow is simple. The easiest way is to go to the top of your Feed and look for “PETS TO FOLLOW”. Here you will see Pets that you are currently not following. Tap the “FOLLOW” buttons to follow the Pets.
  • How do I Follow a User?
    To Follow a User, go to their Profile... then tap the Orange Plus + “FOLLOW” Button found to the right of the User’s Name.
  • How do I get to the top of my Feed?
    To get to the top of your feed without scrolling, tap the top of your screen above the ZooPix logo or feed category name.
  • How do I leave a Comment?
    To comment on a Post, tap the comment bubble. Next tap inside the text box and type your desired comment. Lastly tap the orange check mark to publish your comment. NOTE: You can delete your comment by taping the small X to the right of your comment.
  • How do I mention Users in a comment?
    If you wish to mention (Tag) a user in a comment, tap the “@“ symbol found on your keyboard. Then a list of auto suggested users will appear. As you type the name of the user you wish to tag, your list of suggestions will be refined. Once the user you wish to tag appears, tap their name to tag them.
  • How do I Un-Mute / Mute the Sound for Videos?
    To un-mute or mute the sound for videos, tap the sound icon found in the bottom left corner of the video. NOTE: When you un-mute / mute the sound on a post, it will remain this way when viewing all other videos until the app is closed out. When you re-open the app, the volume will default to the mute setting.
  • Viewing the Explore Page
    To view the “EXPLORE” Page tap the Bone menu button found in the bottom left corner of your screen. By doing so you will be directed to your main feed. Once in your feed either swipe left or tap the “EXPLORE” tab in the upper right corner of your screen. Here you can explore everything thats happening on the Zoo including (Zooperstars, Pet Shows, Zoopermart and Needs Love).
  • How do I View my Feed?
    Your Feed contains all of the photos & videos posted by Users your Pet follows. To view your Feed, tap the Bone Menu Button found at the bottom left corner of your screen.
  • How to Lick a post? (likes)
    To lick a post, either tap the heart, or double tap the picture/video to add a lick. If you wish to remove a lick, simply tap the heart again, or double tap your screen a second time.
  • Reporting Users and Posts
    To report a User or Post to ZooPix, please tap the 3 dots “...” The 3 dots can be found on the bottom right corner of a post, and within a users profile at the lower left corner of a users profile picture.
  • What happens when I mention a Pet in a comment?
    When you mention (Tag) a pet in a comment, they will receive a notification that you commented at them.
  • What is the Needs Love Category?
    Needs Love is a feed of adoptable Animals from Shelters & Rescue Centers. If your interested in a Pet, contact the shelter by visiting the Contact Us section in their Profile or by Tapping on the Needs Love icon Red House.
  • How do I search?
    To search anything on the zoopix app go to the “EXPLORE” Page. To go to the "EXPLORE" page tap the Bone menu button found in the bottom left corner of your screen. By doing so you will be directed to your main feed. Once in your feed either swipe left or tap the “EXPLORE” tab in the upper right corner of your screen. Here you can explore everything thats happening on the Zoo including (Zooperstars, Pet Shows, Zoopermart and Needs Love).

    Pet Shows

  • How can I see my ranking in the Pet Show?
    Tap on the Blue “CURRENT LEADERS” button found on the left within the Pet Show to see the current top ten ranking. If your Pet is not within the current top ten ranking, scroll to the bottom of the leaderboard to find your Pets current ranking highlighted in orange.
  • How do I Delete my Post from the Pet Show?
    Go to the Pet Show where you will always find your own post at the top of your Pet Show feed. On your post, tap the 3 dots … then tap the option “DELETE FROM PET SHOW”. NOTE: deleting your Pet Show post from anywhere else in the app will not remove it from the Pet Show.
  • How do I know when a Pet Show is Active?
    There are many ways to tell if a Pet Show is active. 1. A notification regarding the active pet show will be sent to all ZooPixers. 3. A message will appear at the top of your feed inside ZooPix. 3. In your lower menu bar the magnifying glass will have the “PET SHOW” icon to the right of it. 4. On the search screen, the blue category bar will say “Pet Show”. NOTE: when it says “BEST IN SHOW” that means there is no active pet show, instead you will only see the results of all previous Pet Shows. 5. If and when a User you follow posts to the Pet Show, their post will contain a tappable blue “PET SHOW” badge on the lower right corner of their post. 6. Tap the "STAR" Tab to view the Pet Show Screen. If there is an active show, then you will be in the Pet Show.
  • How do I Post to the Pet Show?
    There are two ways to post to a Pet Show: First, a user can go to the “ACTIVE PET SHOW” bar (see steps above) next tap the orange PLUS + button to begin the posting process. NOTE: the Active Pet Show bar will be preselected when posting directly from inside the Pet Show. Second, a User can go to the posting screen via the camera. Tap on the camera icon and follow the posting process which includes selecting the Active Pet Show Bar. NOTE: for each Pet Show, you are limited to One post per Pet Profile.
  • How do I Rate Pet Show Posts?
    Tap 1-5 stars (5 being the best) in order to rate the Pet Show post. After taping a star, you have 1 second to change your rating. After 1 second, your rating for that post will be permanent for the duration of the pet show.
  • How do I view the Pet Show?
    To view the weekly Pet Show go to the search screen via the MAGNIFYING GLASS and tap the blue “ACTIVE PET SHOW” bar. If the pet show is active, you will be directed to the Pet Show feed where you can participate in the Pet Shows by rating Posts or entering a Post to the Pet Show. Once the Pet Show has ended the blue bar will display “RESULTS” and you will be directed to the results page with a list of the first, second and third place winners. A shortcut to view the pet show is to tap on the blue Pet Show badges found throughout the app on participants pet show posts.
  • What happens if I win an Award?
    You will receive an animated pop up of your Award. Then the award will be placed in the “AWARDS” Section of your profile. There are two ways in which to view the award animation: 1. If you are already in the app while the Pet Show concludes... the award animation will appear as soon as you win it. 2. If you were not in the app when the Pet Show concluded... it will automatically appear for you once you re-open the app.
  • What’s the difference between Trophies & Ribbons?
    Trophies are collected by winning 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in the Pet Show. Top Pet Ribbons are collected by placing within top 10% most highly rated entries of the Pet Show.
  • When are Pet Shows?
    All Pet Shows start at 3pm EST on Fridays and end at 3PM EST on Sundays. NOTE: On special occasions ZooPix may move the date of the weekly Pet Show (for example on holidays or different events).

    Staying Safe

  • How to Stay Safe on ZooPix
    At ZooPix, we take our Users Privacy, Safety and Security seriously! We strive to ensure that all our users always feel safe while using our platform and participating in our community. As a result, we take many steps to create a safe and positive environment, as well as protect and secure our users identities & personal information. However, it is important for Users to always be careful while using any form of social media. Here are some recommendations from your furry friends at ZooPix on how to stay safe and be more responsible while using the service. NOTE: Please go to Settings and tap on “Terms and Privacy” for further information on Account Privacy and Security. 1. Never share any personal information with other Users that may jeopardize your security or identity. 2. Be careful of what you choose to post and share with other ZooPixers. 3. Never share your password. 4. Report any forms of Animal Cruelty or Abuse. 5. Report any forms of Suspicious Behavior.

    Trouble Logging In

  • I Forgot my Password
    If you forget your password, Go to the Log In screen and below the orange Log In button, tap “FORGOT PASSWORD”. Next, enter the email address associated with your ZooPix account. Then, press the “SEND” button, and the instructions to reset your password will be sent to that email address.
  • Trouble Logging In
    In the case you are having trouble logging into ZooPix, first ensure that you are using your correct email and password. If you are, try refreshing your screen or closing out the app, then re-open ZooPix. If all else fails, contact your friendly ZooPix Support team by emailing support@zoopixapp.com. Our support team is always happy to assist you!
